Homemade Pudding Pops

Do you remember pudding pops from the 80′s? I loved them, so if your like me and looking for a little nostalgia, here are some recipes for some. New and improved of course. Now you can share these little treats with your kids. It makes a great project that’s quick and fun. They make all sorts of popsicle molds that you can buy for a few bucks, or you can use paper cups and popsicle sticks. Here are some of my personal favorite flavor combos.

Fudgey Banana Pops
1 small box instant Chocolate Fudge Pudding
1 ½ cup half and half
1 banana
8 ounces cool whip
½ cup chopped almonds

Blend pudding mix, banana and half and half in a blender until smooth. Fold in cool whip by hand. Put chopped almonds into bottoms of the mold, then add the mixture. Freeze for 5 hours or until firm.

Blueberry-Ras Cheesecake Pops
1 small box cheesecake instant pudding
1 ½ cup half and half
½ cup blueberries
½ cup raspberries

In a blender mix cheesecake pudding mix and half and half until smooth. Add in raspberries and blueberries and pulse 2-3 times to break up the berries. Place in molds and freeze for 5 hours or until firm.

Island Pudding Pops
1 small box instant coconut pudding
1 tablespoon lime juice
½ cup coconut cream
½ cup pineapple juice
½ cup orange juice

Blend cream of coconut, lime juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, and pudding mix in a blender until smooth. Place in molds and freeze for 5 hours or until firm.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding Pops
1 small box instant chocolate pudding
1 ½ cup milk
¼ cup peanut butter
1 cup cool whip
½ cup chopped peanuts

Blend pudding mix, milk, and peanut butter until smooth. Fold in the cool whip. Put chopped peanuts in the bottom of the popsicle molds, then place molds in the freezer for 5 hours or until firm.

Orange Dream Pudding Pops

1 small box instant vanilla pudding
1 C milk
6oz vanilla yogurt (orange is great too if you can find it)
1 cup orange juice
8 oz cool whip

In a blender combine pudding, yogurt, juice and milk and blend until combined. Fold in cool whip and pour into popsicle molds and freeze for 5 hours or until firm.
